End Frets

Summary: Machine-cut fretwork is now the standard format. This model has very simple frets, in a thick floral pattern, and is of a single flat mahogany sheet applied to the end-frame.

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 151mm - a smaller size to accommodate just a 32-key layout.

End-Profile: Flat, glued to top of frame.

End Material: Single-ply mahogany end-sheet, in a very simple post-1848 machine-cut fretwork pattern.

End Bolts: Medium cheese-head brass bolts

Fret Pattern: Post-1848 machine-cut very simple fretwork pattern

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval to RH, oval shape to LH

Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one steel securing screw, one at each side..

Finger-rest: Standard format curved-end brass finger-rests, with full leather cladding. Three securing screws.

Fret Condition: Good

Damage Summary: Case lock, damaged, strap and lock embouchure area damaged, some loose joints.
