Action Board

Action Board Summary: The instrument's Action is made up of a brass pillar with a through-rivet that holds down the aluminium rod levers. Pallets are in pairs at the end of each lever, covering the twin reed chambers that play for each button. The pallets are circular pale cardboard, with those to bass reeds of a larger diameter, and the larger air-valve pallet.

Action Board Pivot: A brass pillar with a through-rivet that holds down the aluminium rod levers.

Action Board Levers: Aluminium rod levers.

Action Board Springs: Brass.

Action Board Pallets: The pallets are circular pale cardboard, with those to some lower reeds of a larger diameter.

Action Board Securing-screw pattern: Two wooden cylindrical supports receiving the two long wood-screws from the wooden hand-strap, bar; no visible screws or supports are now used in the fret area. No other visible screws or supports are now used in the fret area.
