Bellows

Bellows Summary: 4-Fold Lachenal-produced leather bellows (slightly inset from the bellows-frame profile) with an unusual "wiggly lines and dots" patterned paper not seen on any later 1850s budget instruments in the Collection. Many leather patches applied to the bellows corners.

Inner Bellows Cradle: A conventional set of six triangular mounts (all set adjacent to the corners) within the bellows-frame to support the reed-pan.

Bellows Folds and Features: 4-Fold Lachenal-produced leather bellows (slightly inset from the bellows-frame profile) with an unusual "wiggly lines and dots" patterned paper not seen on any later 1850s budget instruments in the Collection. Many leather patches applied to the bellows corners.

Bellows Leather colour: Black leather.
