Summary: Flat solid rosewood simple hand-cut frets with a tiny central hole right in the centre (possible where the scribing-tool or compass marked out the boundaries of the annular ring of fretwork).

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 157.5 mm

End-Profile: Flat

End Material: Solid rosewood ends, veneered frames.

End Bolts: Medium cheese-head brass.

Fret Pattern: Hand cut simple Scates pattern.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval Cartouche

Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one steel securing screw.

Finger-rest: Brass sheet, clad in original dark green leather.

Fret Condition: Fine.
