End Frets

Summary: A simple machine-cut pattern of varnished mahogany frets, in the standard pattern of many 2- row George Jones anglos of this period.

End Shape: Hexagonal.

End Sides: Six.

End Diameter: 158.5mm.

End-Profile: Flat.

End Material: The fretwork-frame and action frame edges are polished mahogany.

End Bolts: Domed-head steel bolts. (As used on most early and budget anglo production in this period) securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval embouchure with maker's label and smaller scalloped-top oval for LH serial number (number absent).

Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - the (missing) screws would go directly to wood of action frame.

Damage Summary: Replacement hand-straps, case strap missing, bellows patching.
