Summary

Full Description: An original slip-cased Wheatstone Harmonic Diagram of 1824, in fine condition, and with the inked labels of "State University of Iowa Libraries, MTI-5. W56" The central rotating disc has its original ivory button and rear securing screw, and the thick board mount is engraved in the plate "C Wheatstone, Jan y 1st., 1824". The rear of the card mount bears the Iowa Library label, and an acquisition number 418855. The original slip-case is open down each side due to slight wear.
