Summary

Full Description: The 1913 "Privilege Catalogue of Musical Merchandise" from Campbell & Co, The World's Music Providers, 116 Trongate, Glasgow. With the dates 1840 - 1913, and the claims that "Campbell's Melodeons encircle the Universe and gladden the Globe", the 34-page catalogue markets the instruments all as Campbells' Own Make, yet their quality concertinas all appear to be of Lachenal manufacture, re-badged as Campbells' make. Compare the J Wallis & Son catalogue, which showcases and names Lachenals' concertinas full range in several pages. (Item NC.2.3-006).
