Full Description: A British photo-postcard of “The Manchester English Concertina Band”. Postally used 19 Jan 1933. 17 uniformed players, Dinner-jacketed conductor, 4 gents in suits, posed in three rows to the rear of a pile of 17 ebony-ended English Concertinas of many styles and systems: Aeolas, New Models, basses, tenors, and with drums. Addressed on its divided rear to the Secretary of Cleckheaton English Concertina Band, requesting return of their Competitions Cards (a form of fundraising).
