BellowsBellows Summary: 4-Fold green leather bellows, slightly thicker than early examples, but still with "Bookbinder" tucks and folds. The frame flush with the action frame. With another appearance of the gilt "Circle and Dot" patterned white papers found on many subsequent instruments. The bellows have silk bottom-bout reinforcements. The bellows-frame has a conventional set of triangular corner mounts to support the pan, continuing the move away from the "French Cradle" method of pan support. Inner Bellows Cradle: A conventional set of six triangular corner mounts within the bellows-frame support the reed-pan Bellows Folds and Features: Four fold, thicker style bellows, some "Bookbinder's" features, circle & Dot papers.
