The divided end arrangements of Fretwork-frame and action frame are of Amboyna veneer. End Shape: Hexagonal End Sides: Six End Diameter: 156mm End-Profile: Flat End Material: Amboyna ends, withtwo-ply Amboyna-on-Hardwoodfrets End Bolts: Medium-height cheese-head brass bolts, securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows, with two folded brass neck-strap supports held by the top-end-bolt of each end. Fret Pattern: Less intricate Charles Wheatstone 1840s pattern Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval to RH, shield-shaped to LH Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one steel securing screw. Finger-rest: Standard format curved-end brass finger-rests, with most leather cladding intact. Three securing screws. Fret Condition: Fine condition, some "Thumb-scuffing" areas. Damage Summary: Good condition |
