All reed chambers have the note-names ink-stamped into the woodwork, and all cross-pieces are later cork additions. The pans are flush to the bellows-frame and reed-pans. Reed Pans Main Labels: None Reed Pans Further Labels: Oval dealer/repairer label of "A C Norman, concertina mfr, 11/93" with pencil note "Tuned & Repaired A C Norman." Reed Pans Serial Numbers: L & R Twice Reed Pans Gasketry: Pale yellow chamois. Reed Pans Right Hand Cross Pieces: RH: 10 Cork cross-pieces on top chambers, none are topped with Chamois. Reed Pans Left Hand Cross Pieces: LH: 10 Cork cross-pieces on top chambers, none are topped with Chamois Reeds Summary: 134 wedge profiled square-ended brass reed frames, 24 on each side of each reed pan. Square-end frames, with blued Brass tongues each secured by two domed brass screws, holding down a brass cross-piece: this piece has Open-Sides to the screw areas, a feature that has been linked to the manufacturer Nickolds. Note names stamped on each reed-frame.
