Label Within Cartouche on chamois baffle: Scalloped edge paper label, beneath scalloped Cartouche on sub-frets, bellows-frame white leather baffle.

Other Serial Numbers: No number on pans but No 1787 on frets, bellows-frame and action, (plus a Batch Number "73" stamped on the top side bellows-frame corner supports.

Serial Number Under Frets: No 1787 (end-frames and action), not visible from exterior.

Serial Number On Action Board: No 1787 on frets, bellows-frame and on the rims of action frames.

Serial Number On Pans: No number

Serial Number On Bellows Frame: No 1787 adjacent to top triangular reed-pan support, with a Batch Number "73" on the top pan support.

Dealer's Labels Summary: Boosey & Sons bought the Geo Case business around 1856: "Patent Concertina by George Case, Boosey & Sons, Holles St, LONDON"
