Full Description: 48-Key nickel-inlaid, ebony-veneer-ended George Case "English" concertina no 3318 , 48 solid-silver capped nickel keys, bushed, round-ended reeds. double-reed pan with complex sub-pan baffle, with the "Boosey & Ching" version of the George Case scalloped label. Gilt-embossed green leather bellows and thumb-straps, rosewood-veneer case, with outer leatherette/cardboard case.

Boosey & Co.instruments are labelled as George Case of Boosey and ... where the name has variations including Boosey and Sons (by 1864), Boosey and Chin(g) and Boosey and Co. The earlier company address is Holles Street,London, and they moved to Regent St about 1874.
