Reeds and Reed PansReed Pans Summary: Conventional radial pans with central hole and circular pan-label on each inner face, pans inset flush to bellows-frame, and with narrow dividers clad in conventional yellow chamois. . Reed Pans Main Labels: This is a first appearance of a Rock Chidley circular pan-label, with note-names & positions, and with Chidley's address. This style of circular label was much used on many Wheatstone and Lachenal concertinas. Reed Pans Stamps: L & R only Reed Pans Serial Numbers: No serial number stamps. Reed Pans Gasketry: pale yellow chamois Reed Pans Right Hand Cross Pieces: None Reed Pans Left Hand Cross Pieces: None Reeds Summary: 96 wedge profiled square-ended brass reed frames, 24 on each side of each reed pan. Square-end frames, with nickel tongues each secured by two domed brass screws. Note names stamped on each reed-frame. Reed Frame Material: Brass Reed Tongue Material: Nickel.
