Reeds and Reed Pans

Reed Pans Summary: Conventional radial single action format pans with central hole, inset flush to bellows-frame, and with narrow dividers clad in conventional yellow chamois. The pans are flush to the bellows-frame and reed-pans.

Reed Pans Main Labels: Later pencilled "L" & "R" on outer face, and pencilled "12" (possible Batch Number) on the inner faces only.

Reeds Summary: 22 wedge profiled round-ended brass reed frames, 11 on the inner face of each reed pan. Round-end frames, with nickel tongues each secured by two tall domed brass screws. The reeds have the unusual open-sided tongue-securing cross pieces, in common usage on Nickolds instruments. Note names stamped on each reed-frame.
