Main Case: Original hexagonal rosewood-veneered case, finely-grained.. Solid bevelled rosewood lid, top strap still present - a rare survival of the top-strap. Red velvet lining, lock embouchure absent, two-clasp brass lock. Lid has the Dealer's label of ""J, J. Vickers, Dealer and Repairer of concertinas, Sole Agent for Italian Accordions. 82 Royal Hill, Greenwich, London S.E."

Main Case Shape: Hexagonal

Main Case Measurement: 182 x 176mm tall

Main Case Material: Original hexagonal Rosewood veneered case, solid bevelled lid.

Main Case Inner Label: Dealer's label in lid of "J, J. Vickers, Dealer and Repairer of concertinas, Sole Agent for Italian Accordions. 82 Royal Hill, Greenwich, London S.E."

Main Case Lock: A two-clasp brass lock, stamped "Patent" with Ivory embouchure.

Main Case Hinges: Two Brass hinges, each with four steel screws, and stamped "B & Co Improved".

Main Case Straps: Top leather strap still present - a rare survival of the top-strap
